Bioengineering Freshman Finds Time to Compete (Click for more)

Bioengineering Freshman, Samir Mishra, attends class like all of his other classmates but also has a competitive side.  Samir is a member of Fizaa, a completely student-run, nonprofit organization, and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign’s very own competitive Bollywood-Fusion dance team.  Samir does competitions and performances of the Indian cultural traditions of dance, music, and drama and is working to create more cultural awareness for fellow students and community.

You can see Samir and the rest of Fizaa perform this Saturday at Folinger Auditorium as part of India Night.  Program is from 7-10pm, doors open at 6pm.
