Phase 1 Ending April 30, 2009

Phase 1 for the Illinois Domain Project is set to end April 30, 2009. By this date the following milestones should be met:

• All campus Web sites should have enabled their illinois.edu sites.
• All campus Web sites with a uiuc.edu address should have a permanent 301 redirect implemented to send traffic from the uiuc.edu address to the illinois.edu address.
• Departments with mx records should have enabled new mx records in the illinois.edu domain.

As announced last October, Host Manager is operating under a two week service window for completing submitted domain name requests. CITES' No Change period begins at midnight May 7, 2009.
