Phillips named to KITP Advisory Board

Professor of Physics and Bliss Faculty Scholar Philip W. Phillips has been elected to membership in the Advisory Board of the Kalvi Institute of Theoretical Physics. Phillips will serve a three-year term, starting Fall 2009.

The Board sets the scholarly agenda for the Institute and selects programs to carry out its mission to advance theoretical physics, particularly in areas that overlap traditional subfields, by fostering interactions among scientists that are not easily realized in existing institutions.
