Rosenstein documentary honored by Alliance for Women in Media's Gracie Awards

Lord is not on trial posterJournalism professor Jay Rosenstein's documentary "The Lord Is Not On Trial Here Today" was named Outstanding Documentary in the 36th annual Gracie Award competition sponsored by the Alliance for Women in Media. Gracie Awards acknowledge "the realistic and multifaceted portrayal of women in entertainment, news, features and other programs" according to the alliance's website. "The Lord Is Not On Trial Here Today" recounts Vashti McCollum's efforts that led to the establishment of the separation of church and state in public schools. Jay's documentary has aired on WILL-TV and will be distributed nationally by PBS in May.
