Media scholars presented at American Academy of Advertising conference in March

Advertising professors Chang Dae Ham and Michelle Nelson, Interim Dean Jan Slater, and communications PhD candidate Sang Do Oh presented research at the American Academy of Advertising conference in Arizona in March. Ham presented on a panel "Internet Media Personality in Web 2.0: Scale Development and Advertising Implication." Nelson presented with former visiting scholar Martin Waiguny, Alpen Adria Universität Klagenfur, on "Go With the Flow: How Persuasion Knowledge and Game Challenge and Flow State Impact Children’s Brand Attitudes." Oh presented his research on the panel "Higher Quality or Lower Price? How Value Increasing Promotions Affect Store Reputation via Perceived," and Slater presented on the discussion "The Water in Which We Swim: How Advertising's Home Unit Affects the Advertising Program."
