Advertising graduate students assist with Family Resiliency Center PSA campaign

Michelle Nelson, associate professor of advertising, partnered her graduate students in ADV585 Advertising Management Planning with the Family Resiliency Center to help evaluate the effectiveness of two "Mealtime Minutes" Public Service Announcements. The PSAs were targeted to parents of young children ages 4-8 and designed to help them make a plan for family mealtimes. The students conducted surveys and in-depth interviews with parents and then presented their ideas to the FRC as part of their final project on May 3. The FRC will use the evaluation and ideas from the student projects as they implement future messaging strategies to reach parents.
