iElect class gearing up for election

IElect is a multimedia election project designed to help students experience the excitement of a presidential election year while also learning cutting-edge techniques in multimedia journalism. Students are using online, mobile, broadcast, print and social media techniques in a real-world project that will preview and cover the 2012 general election in a non-traditional way.

Two students made an appearance on the WCIA Morning Show to talk about the class.

With the election just a few days away resources are now online.
