Thompson wins 6 Emmys
Nathan Thompson, ’06 BALAS, of Nashville has won six Emmy awards for his editing and videography at WTVF-TV in Nashville.
The awards were presented January 26 at the Nashville chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Gala.
Thompson won an Emmy in every category in which he was nominated: news editor, spot news coverage, general assignment coverage, video essay, light feature and best photographer.
He has won 10 previous Emmys and a year ago was named the National Press Photographers Association national videographer of the year.

Thompson is now the co-owner and director of photography/motion graphics at Contrast Visuals & Consulting in Nashville, Tennessee. He left WTVF in 2012. He was previously photo chief at WICD-TV 15 Champaign.
