Illini Media at University of Illinois Appoints New Students Leaders for the Company

Illini Media Company, the independent student media company at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, has appointed new student managers to lead Illini Media.

 

The following employees of Illini Media Company are students in the College of Media.

Darshan Patel, a junior studying Broadcast Journalism in the College of Media, has been named editor in chief of The Daily Illini, the independent student newspaper at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Evan Lyman, a junior studying News-Editorial Journalism in the College of Media, has been named editor in chief at buzz weekly, an entertainment magazine in the Champaign-Urbana area. 

Curtis Wagner, a junior studying Advertising in the College of Media, has been named program director at WPGU-FM, a commercial radio station within Illini Media Company. 

The following employees of Illini Media Company are students in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

Amanda Adreani, a sophomore studying Art History and Psychology in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, has been named editor in chief at Illio, the official yearbook of the University of Illinois.

Nick Langlois, a junior studying Communication in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, has been named student sales manager at Illini Media.

These students will hold their positions from March 2013 to March 2014.
