Advertising Team Places Second in Competition

“Think about the last painting project you did. What comes to mind?”


This was the question that drove the 2012-2013 Illinois National Student Advertising Competition team to second place at regionals in Merrillville, IN. The competition’s client this year was Glidden Brilliance – a line of paint sold exclusively at Walmart.


The team had an incredibly successful year. Not only did they receive second place in their track, but they also earned a ‘Wild Card’ seat that gives them the potential to still go to Nationals.


The project took eight months to complete – from September to April – and it gave over fifty students the experience they will need to pursue successful careers in Advertising.


The ‘Wild Card’ team will be chosen on May 13.
