JOURN Prof Houston instrumental in international conference
JOURN Professor Brant Houston, the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation Chair in Investigative and Enterprise Reporting, helped to organize and was a presenter at the Global Instigative Journalism Conference (GIJC) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Houston presented on investigating the food industry, the futures of investigative journalism and great investigations from around the world.
The conference is the world’s largest international gathering of investigative reporters and is organized and cosponsored by the Global Investigative Journalism Network, cofounded by Houston in 2000.
