The Family Resiliency Center's Director to Present at Briefing on Raising Healthy Children in Washginton, DC

This coming Thursday Dr. Barbara Fiese, Director of the Family Resiliency Center, will be a presenter in Washington, D.C. in a briefing on "Raising Healthy Children: Recent Evidence from Developmental Science".

Dr. Fiese will be talking about "Management of Chronic Health Conditions in Children: The Importance of Family Mealtime", and will be joined by colleagues from the University of Delaware, University of Michigan, the Duke Center for Child and Family Policy, and the Society for Research in Child Development (SRCD).

The briefing is sponsored by SRCD, in cooperation with Honorary Co-Chairs Senator Robert Casey, Senator Tom Harkin, Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro, Congressman Rush Holt, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, Congressman Sandy Levin, Congressman Tom Petri, Congressman Dave Reichart, and Congresswoman Linda Sanchez.
