I-TOPP Lecture Series: Dr. Myles Faith
The Family Resiliency Center welcomes Dr. Myles Faith to campus, as part of the I-TOPP Lecture Series on Tuesday, December 6, from Noon - 1 in Bevier.
Dr. Faith, an Associate Professor of Nutrition at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Gillings School of Global Public Health, will be giving a talk titled "Family-Based Treatment of Early Childhood Obesity". Dr. Faith's research areas include familial influences on the development of child eating patterns, weight status, and obesity; lifestyle interventions for childhood obesity trreatment and prevention; and school- and primary care-based interventions to prevent childhood obesity.
