Mealtimes in Child Care: A Potential Avenue for Obesity Prevention in Young Children Presented by Dr. Madeleine Sigman-Grant from the University of Nevada
Dr. Madeleine Sigman-Grant, University of Nevada Cooperative Extension, will be giving an I-TOPP Lecture titled "Mealtimes in Child Care: A Potential Avenue for Obesity Prevention in Young Children" on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Noon in the Studio in Christopher Hall, 904 W Nevada, Urbana. Food will be provided.
Dr. Sigman-Grant's research examines nutritional guidelines for feeding children, childhood obesity prevention, and community breastfeeding programs. I-TOPP is an innovative research based PhD/MPH degree program with a focus on obesity prevention and child health and wellbeing.
