Hiring a coordinator for the Community and Outreach Translation Core
The Family Resiliency Center is looking for a post-doctoral or post-professional MPH to fill a full-time, twelve-month, two-year position (with an option for a third year). The position will be responsible for coordinating all translation and outreach activities of the Community and Outreach Translation Core (COTC), which is a part of the Children’s Environmental Health Research (CEHC) at Illinois.
The CEHC looks at the impact of exposure to chemicals found in everyday products on a child’s development. The focus of the COTC is to translate the scientific evidence into practical strategies and dissemination tools for parents, childcare providers, healthcare workers, and public health providers. To read more about the COTC, please visit www.familyresiliency.illinois.edu/research/COTC-I-Kids.html
Applicants should have an MPH or PhD or equivalent degree in public health, human development, nutritional sciences, developmental psychology, or a related field. Experience in conducting research on a scientific project is required. Applications will be reviewed until the position is filled. Applicants should send curriculum vitae, cover letter, two writing samples, and reference information to Elizabeth Mosley at firstname.lastname@example.org.
