Teaching Assistant Professor of French. The Department of French and Italian at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track position as a Teaching Assistant Professor in French with a start date of August 16, 2017. The position is renewable, contingent on positive performance reviews. Responsibilities include: 1) coordinate the French basic language program, train and supervise graduate teaching assistants; 2) contribute to the teaching needs of the department; 3) participate in curricular development; and 4) promote and support the French undergraduate program. Teaching load: three courses per year in addition to coordination.
