The award for Best GPU Paper at the 2012 Symposium on Application Accelerators in High-Performance Computing went to "Power Aware Computing on GPUs" by Kiran Kasichayanula, Dan Terpstra, Piotr Luszczek, Stan Tomov, Shirley Moore and Gregory Peterson. The winners received an NVIDIA Tesla C2075 GPU computing processor, courtesy of NVIDIA. Congratulations!

Registration for SAAHPC 2012 is now closed.
The maximum dimensions for posters for SAAHPC 2012 are: 36 inches (3 feet) in width x 48 inches (4 feet) in height. There is no required template. If you have additional questions, please contact ask@saahpc.org.
Andrew A. Chien, University of Chicago and Argonne National Laboratory, will give a keynote talk at SAAHPC 2012 called "Can we Systematically Evaluate and Exploit Heterogeneous Accelerators? A 10x10 Perspective."
If you are not a U.S. Citizen you MUST register for SAAHPC 2012 by May 29, and you must fill out the Argonne Foreign National Registration Form/593, which you will receive with your registration confirmation email. This early deadline is necessary because SAAHPC 2012 is being held at a U.S. Department of Energy facility. Note that registration can be cancelled with just a $5 processing fee untill June 26. This means that you can register by May 29 and then cancel your registration if your paper is not accepted, receiving a full refund (minus the $5 processing fee).

The deadline to submit papers to SAAHPC 2012 has been extended one week to May 18.
The NVIDIA Best Paper Award will go to the best paper on the use of GPUs for scientific computing presented at SAAHPC 2012. The winner will receive an NVIDIA Tesla C2075 GPU computing processor, courtesy of NVIDIA. Submissions are due by May 11 May 18.
Rick Stevens, the Associate Laboratory Director for Computing, Environment and Life Sciences at Argonne National Lab, will give a keynote talk on "The Challenges of Designing and Building a Next-Generation High-Performance Software Library for Genomic Sequence Analysis" at SAAHPC 2012.
