This special track within SAAHPC 2012 invites papers that describe new or proposed techniques, systems, and infrastructure to increase the speed, agility, and flexibility with which accelerators can be deployed in bioscience applications.

Two best paper awards were given recently at the 2011 Symposium on Application Accelerators in High-Performance Computing.

SAAHPC 2011 has released its agenda and has announced that Pradeep Dubey from Intel and Kevin Skadron from the University of Virginia will give keynote talks.
The best paper on the use of GPUs for scientific computing presented at SAAHPC 2011 will be rewarded with an NVIDIA Tesla C2070 GPU computing processor, courtesy of NVIDIA, while the best paper on the use of FPGAs will be awarded an FPGA board, courtesy of Xilinx. Submissions are due by May 13, 2011.
