Reno Gazette-Journal -- In a study measuring the benefits of exercise for previously sedentary older people, Beckman researcher and U. of I. psychology professor Arthur Kramer, found that those who performed aerobic exercise did better on cognition than those who just stretched and toned without increasing their heart rates.
