Graduate College Announcements

The Thesis Office will be open Tuesday, November 24, 1:00 4:45 PM, but will be closed for Thanksgiving Break on Thursday and Friday (11/26 and 11/27). Electronic theses and dissertations (ETDs) may be submitted to the Graduate College at any time during Fall Vacation. ETDs submitted during the extended Thanksgiving weekend will be reviewed when the Thesis Office re-opens the following Monday, 11/30. For further information about creating an ETD profile and submitting an ETD to the Graduate College after obtaining departmental approval,see www.grad.illinois.edu/submit-etd.

Would you like your application materials reviewed or have a question for a Graduate College career adviser? Stop by during our drop-in hours. Tuesday afternoons from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Wednesday mornings from 9:00-11:45 a.m. Drop-in hours will be held at their usual times on Tuesday, November 24 and Wednesday, November 25.

The Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad application is now available. The Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad (DDRA) Fellowship Program provides opportunities to doctoral candidates to engage in full-time dissertation research abroad in modern foreign languages and area studies. The campus deadline for applications has been extended to Monday, November 2. Online applications must be completed and transcripts received by that date.
