The ongoing debate over the Washington NFL team’s name has sparked dramatic nationwide interest in the 1997 documentary “In Whose Honor?” The documentary – written, produced, directed, and edited by Professor Jay Rosenstein – takes a critical look at the long-running practice of "honoring" Native American Indians by using them as mascots and nicknames in sports.

Emmy Award-winning documentary The Everlasting Stream provides new epilogue

The Everlasting Stream, the Emmy award-winning KET documentary based on University of Illinois journalism professor Walt Harrington’s 2002 memoir of the same name, will air on KET with a new epilogue, updating viewers on what’s happened in the lives of the film’s beloved protagonists. The Everlasting Stream airs Tuesday, Nov. 25 at 9/8 pm on KET.
