Summer hours at all Campus Recreation facilities start Saturday, May 11. The ARC will be open from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. on Sat-Sun and from 6:30 a.m.-9 p.m. during the week (M-F). CRCE will be CLOSED on Sat-Sun and open from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. (M-F). The Ice Arena and Freer Hall Pool are closed during the summer sessions. Complete schedule is available.

The Illini Grove and Outdoor Center (courts 1 and 2) tennis courts will be used as practice locations during the NCAA Tennis Championships, being held on campus from May 13-27. The courts will be unavailable all day during this time period. Courts 3-6 at the Outdoor Center will be available for open play.

Due to a basketball tournament, the ARC will be extremely busy May 18-19. Gym 1, 2, and 3 will be used and there will be no open rec badminton. We apologize for the inconvenience. Gym 4 will be available for open basketball.

Registration for summer learn-to-swim lessons is now open to Campus Recreation members. Registration forms and the schedule for adult and youth classes.

Before you head out to use our Complex Fields and Outdoor Center, be sure to check our calendar! Reservations and bookings will be updated regularly.

Michael McGarry (member services program assistant & former Director's intern) received the University of Illinois Student Employee of the Year award and was also named the State of Illinois Employee of the Year. Selina Kempton (adventure recreation & Ice Arena) was also one of the finalists for Student Employee of the Year.
