Indoor Soccer World Cup IX Wrap Up
The Indoor Soccer World Cup IX was held Nov. 6-8 at CRCE. This was the 5th year for the once a semester event. Sponsored by International Student Scholars and Services (ISSS) and Campus Recreation, the Fall tournament featured 16 teams representing 13 countries. Team USA prevailed with the crown after downing Team Colombia, 4-3, in the final. Check out tournament highlights.

Fall Break Facility Hours
Campus Rec facilities will have special hours during Fall Break (Nov. 21-29). The ARC will be closed through Nov. 28 with CRCE and Freer Hall Pool open the entire break period. All facilities will be closed on Thurs, Nov. 26 for the holiday. Click here for complete schedule.

Canoe the Florida Everglades with Campus Rec
Looking for warm weather and a litte adventure? How about six days of canoeing and camping in the Florida Everglades National Park from Jan. 8-16? The trip will be along part of the Wilderness Waterway, a 99-mile trail from Everglades City to Flamingo, and through the coastal islands in the Gulf of Mexico. Faculty/Staff Free Day - Nov. 24
Campus Recreation will be hosting a Faculty/Staff Free Day on Tues, Nov. 24 from 6:30am-9pm at Campus Rec Center East (CRCE). Any University faculty/staff member can use CRCE during the day by simply showing your i-card. You will be able to host up to 4 family/friends with your i-card (you must enter with them and be with them at all times.) All policies and children's policies are still in effect. ARC named Best Place to Work Out

Campus Rec continues Go Green initiative
Campus Recreation has installed new bathroom fixtures in its three indoor facilities to drastically decrease water consumption, along with installing occupation light sensors on the 12 racquetball and three squash courts to help decrease electrical use. (more)
