            <description>&lt;p&gt;Fusionopolis is an A*STAR (Agency for Science, Technology&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp; and Research)&amp;nbsp; collaborative project incorporating both public and&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp; corporate research labs for interdisciplinary research. &amp;lt;a href="http://www.chemeng.scs.uiuc.edu/Faculty/zukoski.php"&amp;gt;Charles Zukoski&amp;lt;/a&amp;gt;, presently&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp; on partial leave from UIUC, chairs A*STAR'S Science and Engineering Research&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp; Council (SERC).             <title>Steve Granick to receive 2009 Polymer Physics Prize</title>

            <description>&lt;p&gt;The highest honor in the field of polymer physics will   be awarded in 2009 to Steve Granick. The prize consists of $10,000 and a certificate   citing the contributions made by the recipient. It is presented annually and   faculty from the University of Illinois will have won this award for two consecutive   years. Granick's citation  reads, &amp;amp;quot;For pathbreaking and elegant experiments   that elucidate the structure and dynamics of polymers and liquids confined   by surfaces.&amp;amp;quot;&lt;/p&gt;</description>
