Midwest Games and Memorial Day

The Malaysian Student Association will be using the ARC as the host site for the Midwest Games International 2012 Saturday, May 26-Sunday, May 27. Due to this great event, the ARC will be CLOSED. CRCE will be open from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Freer Hall Pool will be open from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. for lap swimming. The CRCE aquatic center will be closed for maintenance.

Memorial Day
On Memorial Day (Monday, May 28), the ARC will be open from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. The climbing wall will operate from 4-8 p.m. CRCE and Freer Hall Pool will be closed. Complete hours

Campus Rec collected over 1,000 pounds of clothing

Campus Recreation collected 1,106 pounds of clothing during Earth Week. All the clothing was distributed between local charities Salt & Light and the Center for Women in Transition.

Congrats to Illini Stunt and Tumble for 2nd place at Nationals

The Illini Stunt and Tumble All-Girl Competitive Cheerleading club sport finished second at Nationals. The Illinois club program competed against several schools that have fully university-funded programs. Watch video of their programs (search University of Illinois)

The Campus Rec 2-person golf tournament featured 27 teams battling at the UI Blue Course. The top finishers were Tim Orlowski/Lyndon Estes with a 64. The teams of Dan Morales/Chris Nemeth and Ian Tate/Patrick Wampler both carded a 66 for runner-up honors.
