I read your article with great interest. Another example that proves that rules (or syntax) cannot exist without why we do things as we do them(semantics). Perhaps the original text could be restyled into today's fashionable (dud) bullets. No pun intended!

I agree, I live in DC however I grew up in upstate NY and was around guns all my life.  I feel there are some good points but the one thing that needs to be pointed out is that right now the only people that have guns in DC are the police and the criminals.  This is the city with the highest murder rate.  Why is that?  In my opinion it is our right as Americans to have a gun i our home if we choose to.  Just my opinion.
