England has to some extent got around the problem posed by the first decade of the 20th century by naming it the Edwardian era, the reigning monarch having conveniently assumed the throne in 1901 and died in 1910. I doubt that we can solve the naming problem of our decade through anything even remotely comparable. We just have to employ imaginative and varying circumlocution.
