For crying out loud!!  This piece is paranoid from the starting-gate.  The proposed legislation may be silly or wrong-headed from linguistic or legal points of view, but to pretend that it's an intentionally anti-gay, anti-feminist plot is simply paranoid.  Only those determined to be offended by everything can find offense in absolutely everything--e.g., the headline on the same web-page "Is the mother of all bombs sexist?"  How about a sober and non-sensationalist essay against the wisdom of this law?
