According to wikipedia, under "googly", "google" is indeed a verb, applied when the bowler in cricket delivers a googly to the batsman, who is said to be "googled".  It is intended to be a surprise to the batsman, since a googly breaks toward him rather than away. And there goes the wicket. Well played.
