  • Summer Internship: My Learning Experience

    Peter Nero shared his story of his summer internship and how he managed to juggle his work internship responsibilities with his class. He felt that summer internship was a wonderful learning experience. He strongly encouraged future graduate tracks would be involved in internship which would count for credit in lieu of an introduction to business course.

  • MSTM - An Academic Action Movie!!

    It has been a month by today since I have come for this course. And as I look back, those days went by in a fly. So many friends, so many courses, and so much work!!

    The course started with Sandra and Karthik taking introductory classes in Statistics and Marketing. This is also the time when I got to know many of my classmates. The majority of students come from Taiwan – I definitely want to visit that place some day in my life, many from India and Turkey, and some more students from Thailand, Malaysia, USA, Jordan etc. All in all it is a very diverse mix and an interesting company to be in.



  • Professor Qualls: Passionate Teacher

    This week, we will feature Professor Bill Qualls. Bill Qualls is currently at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he is the Professor of Business Administration and former Head Department of Business Administration. He has also held positions at MIT-Sloan School of Management (1989-1998) and at the University of Michigan (1980-1989).  


  • Deloitte: The League of Extraordinary Advisors

    Last Friday, September 14th 2012, MSTM were privileged to welcome Matt O’Toole and Paul Meynen from Deloitte & Touche, LLP. For the MSTM students, the presentation was not just a learning platform of understanding the advisory industry, but also an opportunity of having a closer look of the management process of the famed Deloitte & Touche, LLP.

  • Going forward! : A message from Alumnus Nick Timmons

    August 2012 etched a special memory for the MSTM graduates of 2012. Their academic journeys had reached yet another pinnacle. They challenged the rigorous and demanding schedule. They persevered waves of assignments, discussions and projects. Victory had never tasted so sweet when they excelled. These graduates realized the MSTM program had sculpted them to be individuals with well-rounded skills to face competitive market.
