This Wednesday April 5, 2017 at 7:00 p.m., join in as Dr. Bennet Omalu comes from University of California, Davis to speak about his experiences as a physician and immigrant. Nigerian-born Dr. Bennet Omalu dedicated much of his career to studying head trauma in athletes. In the face of backlash from various institutions he persisted in his research and ultimately made a huge impact on modern sports medicine.
His life and work was highlighted in the 2015 movie, Concussion, which is starring Will Smith!
