Some users across campus are wondering if they're enabled for Microsoft Lync. In order to start using your new UC Voice services, you have to be enabled with a Lync account. Some individual campus users are early adopters and already have Lync accounts set up; most other individual campus users will be provisioned with a Lync account starting January 9, 2012. Information about your Lync account is available at My UC.
Log in with your NetID and AD password. If you can log in to the web interface, you'll see information about your account status, including whether or not you are Lync enabled and what your temporary Lync phone number is.
If you can't log in to this interface, you can contact the CITES Help Desk for assistance in learning your account status and temporary number.
