    APPLICATION DEADLINE APPROACHING! 

    The College of Engineering International Programs in Engineering (IPENG) is still accepting applications for summer research opportunities in the following countries:

    South Korea
    Spain
    Taiwan (Junior standing preferred)

    All research is reviewed by chief department advisors upon return to campus to determine if you will receive technical credit.

    Applications Due: April 1, 2017

    Compare U.S. and Swedish Approaches to Management of Nuclear Reactor Fuel Discharges

    March 17 - May 7, 2014:  Attend five meeting hours at UIUC

    June 8-21, 2014:  Conduct field work and attend lectures in Stockholm, Sweden.  Travel to Sweden is required for participation in this course.

    4 UIUC Credit Hours

    Students registered in the course will be required to submit an application to International Programs in Engineering at www.studyabroad.illinois.edu to attend the study abroad component.

    The summer 2013 Global Engagement Studies Institute at Northwestern University

    Session Dates:  June 17 - August 24, 2013

    Would you enjoy working directly with local communities and community organizations in Uganda, India, Bolivia, Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic and Haiti, or South Africa; leveraging the strengths, rather than list the weaknesses, of the communities in which you live and work abroad; living with a host family and immersing yourself in another culture for eight weeks?  If the answer is yes, this may be the program for you!
