The ISTC has a long history of working with companies and communities interested in adopting and implementing water conservation measures. As part of its Billion Gallon Water Challenge Program, ISTC is contemplating sponsoring a workshop focused almost exclusively on water use reduction projects at manufacturing facilities and operations that support manufacturing (e.g., cooling towers, high purity water treatment processes, scrubbers, etc.), as these projects have a much higher likelihood of favorable return on investment (ROI) and of being implemented. The workshop will be offered in conjunction with consultants with deep knowledge of various manufacturing processes and experience with industrial water conservation. Project opportunities identified as a result of participation in this workshop and developed further may be eligible to receive assistance from the One Billion Gallon Water Challenge Program. The 2 to 3-hour workshop will be held in Spring 2016. There will be a registration fee of $50 per person.ISTC would like to hear from companies that might be interested in participating in this workshop for planning purposes. If interested, please fill out this short questionnaire.
