Investors and executives in the agricultural industry are getting a first look at TerraSentia, a new-to-the-market agricultural robot that autonomously measures crop traits, developed at the University of Illinois and led by CSL Professor Girish Chowdhary. The start-up company EarthSense, Inc. announced it has filed a provisional patent and is now taking pre-orders for the agricultural robot TerraSentia, which will be ready for the 2018 growing season. Read more.

Office and bicycle security in CSL

There have been reports of theft in both office spaces in CSL and bicycle racks around the building in the past week. The police have been notified about these events. As a general reminder, lock your office doors when you leave and be careful with how you secure your bicycles.
