What Is Handshake?

Handshake is the new career services platform where Illinois students and postdocs can connect with employers and find job opportunities. (It replaces I-Link, which has been retired.) Handshake is used by over 230,000 employers around the world to identify and recruit talent at universities, so you'll have access to more employers and job postings than ever before. You can also find career fairs, workshops, and career coaching appointments in Handshake. Log in here.

 
If You Can't Log In

If you try to log into Handshake using your NetID and password at handshake.illinois.edu and cannot do so, don't worry--you can still have an account. You will need to fill out this form. An account will be created for you in 2-3 business days.

Do you love cats even when you can’t pet them? Do you want to help save their lives through trap/neuter/return? We’re looking for someone with experience, professionalism, a great attitude and a lot of love to give to community cats in the Coachella Valley area. You’ll be in charge of trapping cats who need to be spayed and neutered, driving them to clinics for their operations, and returning them once they’ve recovered.

We are looking for a Data Scientist with a great knowledge of financial assets who would be in charge of algorithm-assisted asset evaluation and taxonomy. Responsibilities will include working with a deep learning tools such as Tensor Flow or Watson API, to understand and verify the assets listed on our platform. You would be taking an active role in involving deep learning and other algorithms into our augmented intelligence system. We believe skill set and experience are only two ingredients for success.
