Help Make a Difference in Puerto Rico via Study Abroad Class The ACES/Engineering Global Service Learning Disaster Relief Projects: Hurricane Maria course offers a faculty-led study abroad tour to Puerto Rico that is designed to develop a pathway toward sustainable responses for disaster relief efforts. Students in the class will investigate cultural, political, and social factors that preceded recent events in Puerto Rico and will work toward solutions. The travel period during the course will take place during spring break. Info sessions about the class will take place at the below times and locations, and free pizza will be provided. Serve as Campus Leader by Becoming Social Justice Peer Educator Application Deadline: Dec. 21 Applications are being accepted for students who are interested in becoming a workshop facilitator for the Social Justice Educator Paraprofessional Program. This program provides students with the opportunity to broaden their understanding of diversity and social justice issues, create and maintain a welcoming and safe campus environment, and develop interpersonal communication skills.
