Apply for a 2018-19 LAS Scholarship
You can apply for more than 20 LAS scholarships for 2018-19 using one application. Last year the college awarded more than $580,000 in scholarships to continuing LAS students. Undergraduates who will be continuing as full-time students in the next academic year should apply by May 18 (students graduating in December may still apply).

Rolling applications for Summer 2018 and Fall 2018
Are you interested in technology, motivated to learn and work on projects for clients, and possess good communication skills? ATLAS with match you with on and off campus clients. We help interns learn the skills necessary for their positions, and grow their professional and technology abilities. There are a variety of different positions for Summer and Fall ‘18. Unwinding Time and Temporality: Bio-Humanities Undergraduate Research Symposium
2-5 p.m. Friday, April 20, IPRH Lecture Hall (fourth floor), Levis Faculty Center, 919 W. Illinois St., Urbana

Time is traditionally viewed as regulated, unending, and constant, yet one can relate to the feeling of time flying by in moments of joy or moving along at a snail’s pace in moments of boredom. This symposium will explore the paradox between these two relationships to time, by integrating models of time and temporality from various biological and cultural disciplines. Kelly Delahanty

Get involved with Colleges Against Cancer
Relay For Life: 10 p.m.-6 a.m. Saturday, April 21, CRCE

Student organizations like Colleges Against Cancer offer valuable opportunities for volunteerism and leadership. Start getting involved by joining Relay For Life 2018! Relay For Life is a cancer walk and fundraiser for The American Cancer Society. All money raised goes directly to support cancer patients and their families. The event includes free food, entertainment, and activities. It will also include ceremonies to remember those we've lost, celebrate survivors, and fight back against cancer. Grace Akin
